The focus is on business-critical software that has to work reliably in day-to-day operations — from existing software and interfaces to desktop applications, database-driven solutions, device integration, and step-by-step modernization.
Staff Scheduling for Healthcare & Care Services
Industry: Healthcare, hospitals, nursing homes, mobile care Task: Development and long-term enhancement of a staff scheduling solution with automatic roster generation, capacity planning, time management, payroll, and a route planning module for mobile care. Technologies: Visual Basic, Visual C++, SQL Server Benefit: Multilingual, business-critical software for complex planning and payroll processes in daily operation.
Pharmacy Software & Medication Safety
Industry: Pharmacies / healthcare Task: Development and further enhancement of pharmacy software for patient care, medication management, and safety checks. Later additions included medication safety checks with web service integration, POS interface, and documented warnings. Technologies: Visual Basic 6, VB.NET, SQL Server, SOAP, WCF Benefit: Functionally demanding software for more than 350 pharmacies, plus additional safety logic for consultation and documentation.
ERP Software for a Training Institute
Industry: Training / administration Task: Design and development of an ERP system for course offerings, participant management, billing, documents, trainers, bank import, accounting export, quality management, and internal processes. Technologies: C#, MSSQL, MySQL, MariaDB Benefit: Central platform for numerous administrative and back-office processes, including automation, multilingual support, and long-term enhancement.
Transport, Tolling & Technical Infrastructure
Industry: Transport / infrastructure Task: Porting, maintenance, and further development of toll collection software and related services, drivers, and integrations. This included credit card payments, fiscal signing in line with cash register security regulations, ports to C#, and SAP data imports. Technologies: C++, C#, MFC, Informix, OPC UA, OData, web services Benefit: Long-term use in a robust infrastructure environment with control of barriers, displays, printers, cameras, and other technical components.
Mobile Solution for International Fuel Station Operations
Industry: Fuel stations / retail / international rollout environment Task: Ongoing bug fixing, enhancements, and design improvements for inventory capture software covering goods receipt, stocktaking, orders, quantity corrections, and label lists. Also development of an Android app for warehouse management using REST web services and OAuth 2.0. Technologies: C++, C#, Xamarin for Android, MFC, Windows CE, Android Benefit: Productive use in an international fuel station environment across multiple countries, with continuous enhancement during operation.
Software for Refrigerators in European Retail
Industry: Food retail Task: Development of an application that reads RFID tags inside the refrigerator and transmits item numbers together with expiry dates to a central system. In addition, a Windows service for scheduled processing. Technologies: C#, Windows service, RFID integration Benefit: Visible real-world use in European retail, combining device integration with practical point-of-sale operation.
CRM/Office Extension via Plug-in
Industry: Back office / logistics / administration Task: Extension of an existing CRM/office solution with free-text fields, credit notes, invoice lists, editable address headers, totals logic, and maintenance contract management. Technologies: C# Benefit: Targeted functional enhancement of existing business software instead of a complete redevelopment.
