FAQ
Frequently asked questions about interfaces & system integration
The most important points about API connections, data imports, device integration, existing interfaces and stable system networking during ongoing operation.
Which interfaces can be implemented?
I support custom interfaces between existing applications, databases, web systems, external services and technical devices. This can include REST APIs, SOAP web services, data imports, exports, XML processing, OAuth connections or specific integrations into established system landscapes.
Can existing interfaces also be taken over or stabilized?
Yes. Existing integrations can be analyzed, made easier to understand and stabilized step by step. Typical topics include error analysis, logging, more robust processing, better traceability and controlled extensions during ongoing operation.
Do you also connect ERP, CRM, SAP or accounting systems?
Yes. I support data integrations, imports, exports and interfaces to existing business systems such as ERP, CRM, SAP, accounting systems or internal specialist applications. The aim is to transfer data reliably between systems and reduce manual intermediate steps.
Can devices, scanners or technical infrastructure also be connected?
Yes. In addition to pure software interfaces, devices, mobile scanners, POS systems, PLC controls or technical infrastructure can also be connected. What matters is not only the technical connection, but also robust processing that works reliably in everyday production use.
Does everything always have to be developed from scratch for an interface?
No. It is often more sensible to extend existing solutions, improve existing data paths or revise individual critical areas in a targeted way. This allows existing systems to continue being used while the integration gradually becomes more stable, maintainable and easier to trace.
What do I need for an initial enquiry?
For the first step, a brief description is usually enough: which systems need to be connected, which data has to be exchanged and where problems currently occur. Technical details such as API documentation, sample data, error messages or existing import and export formats can then be reviewed together.
