2. General Information on Data Processing
I process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide this website, respond to inquiries, or carry out contractual and/or pre-contractual measures. The legal bases are, in particular, Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), (b) (contract/pre-contractual steps), (c) (legal obligation), and (f) (legitimate interests) GDPR.
3. Access Data & Server Logs
When you access this website, data is processed for technical reasons (e.g., IP address, date/time, accessed page, referrer URL, browser/OS). This data is stored in server log files to operate the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Hosting/Provider: easyname GmbH, Canettistraße 5/10, 1100 Vienna, Austria. Processing is carried out under a data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
Retention period: Server log data is stored for 14 days and then automatically deleted, unless longer storage is required to investigate security incidents, misuse, or error analysis (in that case, until the matter is fully resolved).
4. Contact
If you contact me by email or via a contact form, I process the data you provide to handle your inquiry and any follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general communication).
Retention period: as long as necessary for processing; beyond that, only if statutory retention periods apply or if required to defend or enforce claims.
5. Cookies & Consent Management
This website may use cookies or similar technologies. Essential cookies are required to operate the website. Other cookies (e.g., analytics/marketing), if used, are only set after you have given your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Change/withdraw consent: You can adjust your selection at any time via the cookie/consent settings (e.g., via the “Cookie Settings” link/button in the footer).
6. Web Analytics (optional)
If web analytics tools are used, this is done only on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Usage data may be processed (e.g., page views, interactions, technical information).
7. Marketing/Tracking (optional)
If marketing or tracking technologies (e.g., remarketing pixels) are used, this is done only after consent has been given (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
8. Embedding Third-Party Content
If external content is embedded (e.g., maps, videos, fonts, CDN), technical reasons may require your IP address to be transmitted to the respective third-party provider. I only use such embeddings when they are necessary or when you have consented (Art. 6(1)(a) or (f) GDPR).
- Examples: maps (e.g., Google Maps), videos (e.g., YouTube/Vimeo), fonts/CDN.
- Note: Third-party providers may process data in third countries.
9. Recipients of Data
Data is only shared with third parties where this is necessary for contract performance, where there is a legal obligation, or where you have given your consent. Possible recipients include, for example, the hosting provider, IT service providers, or processors.
10. Your Rights
Depending on the legal basis, you have the following rights: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21), as well as withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3)) GDPR.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde).
11. Data Security
I implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access (e.g., TLS/HTTPS, access restrictions).
12. Updates
This privacy policy may be updated if the website, the services used, or legal requirements change.
